Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Salary Range: $360K – $840K

* **Target Achievement:** Meet and exceed primary (distributor) and secondary (retail) sales targets for the assigned area.
* **Distribution Management:** Appoint, manage, and evaluate distributors to ensure maximum reach, product availability, and stock compliance.
* **Team Leadership:** Hire, train, motivate, and monitor sales representatives (SRs) and field staff to drive productivity.
* **Market Coverage:** Expand retail network (general trade/modern trade) by identifying new outlets and increasing numeric distribution.
* **Operational Control:** Oversee distributor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and manage receivables (debtor days).
* **Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts and distributors.
* **Market Intelligence:** Analyze competitor activities, market trends, and report on consumer needs to senior management.
* **Promotion Execution:** Implement marketing strategies, merchandising guidelines, and promotional schemes to boost sales.
