Vice President of Sales and Revenue Growth (S10)
Vice President of Sales and Revenue Growth (S10\)
Locus Technologies is seeking a hands\-on Vice President of Sales and Revenue Growth to build and lead a disciplined, measurable, and repeatable revenue organization.
This is an operating role, not an advisory position. The successful candidate will directly manage the sales team, improve pipeline discipline and forecasting, lead strategic enterprise opportunities, expand major accounts, strengthen partner channels, and reduce the company’s dependence on the CEO for routine sales management.
Locus offers a mature enterprise SaaS platform, a strong base of industrial and public\-sector customers, growing inbound demand, and substantial expansion potential within existing accounts. The opportunity is to convert these assets into a consistently managed growth engine spanning new\-logo acquisition, strategic account expansion, partner\-sourced business, and complex enterprise procurements.
The Vice President will report to the CEO and work closely with marketing, customer success, solutions engineering, product, proposal management, and implementation teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and hold the sales team accountable for revenue, pipeline, activity, and forecast targets. Build a repeatable enterprise sales process covering prospecting, qualification, demonstrations, pilots, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
Develop new business through targeted outbound campaigns, executive relationships, partners, and strategic opportunities.
Create account plans to expand Locus across existing customers, business units, and geographies.
Establish clear pipeline stages, qualification standards, forecasting discipline, and weekly operating reviews.
Improve CRM data quality, opportunity management, forecast accuracy, and sales\-process compliance.
Set standards for RFP qualification, pricing, demonstrations, and paid, outcome\-based pilots.
Align sales and marketing on target markets, buyer personas, campaigns, lead handoffs, and revenue attribution.
Build and manage channel relationships with consultants, engineering firms, and technology partners.
Define the future sales organization, hiring plan, territories, compensation, onboarding, and training.
Personally lead or support the company’s most strategic enterprise opportunities.
Work with the CEO to close multi\-year, Fortune 50 accounts.
Required Qualifications
10\+ years of progressive B2B enterprise software sales experience.
4\+ years managing salespeople or sales teams.
Proven success selling complex SaaS platforms to large enterprises, regulated industries, public agencies, or similarly complex customers.
Record of personally closing enterprise opportunities with ARR contract values of at least $250,000\.
Experience building outbound prospecting and strategic account programs.
Ability to manage long, multistakeholder sales cycles involving technical evaluations, security reviews, procurement, pilots, RFPs, and executive approval.
Strong command of CRM discipline, pipeline management, forecasting, stage conversion, and sales metrics.
Ability to coach a team while directly contributing to strategic deals.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive relationship skills.
Willingness to operate hands\-on in a growing company without relying on a large sales\-operations infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling environmental, EHS, ESG, sustainability, water, compliance, asset\-management, laboratory\-data, or enterprise operational software.
Experience with oil and gas, chemicals, utilities, manufacturing, waste, public\-sector, or Fortune 500 customers.
Familiarity with environmental consulting firms, management consultants, and engineering\-service partners.
Experience transitioning a founder\-led sales organization into a professionally managed revenue function.
Success expanding enterprise accounts across business units and geographies.
Knowledge of MEDDPICC, Challenger, consultative selling, account\-based selling, or comparable methodologies.
Experience with Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sales\-sequencing platforms, and AI\-assisted sales tools.
First\-Year Priorities
In the first 30 days, the Vice President will assess the sales team, pipeline, accounts, CRM data, lead sources, compensation plans, marketing programs, and partner relationships.
Within 60 days, the Vice President will establish:
Weekly sales and forecast reviews.
Standard pipeline stages and qualification criteria.
Individual activity and revenue expectations.
Prioritized new\-logo target lists.
Strategic\-account expansion plans.
Formal RFP qualification and pilot procedures.
Defined sales and marketing lead handoffs.
Within 90 days, the Vice President will have active outbound campaigns, written plans for major accounts, an accurate forecast, performance assessments for each salesperson, and a proposed hiring and organizational plan.
By the end of the first year, Locus should have a repeatable sales operating model that no longer depends primarily on the CEO for routine opportunity and team management.
Definition of Success
Success will be measured by both revenue performance and the creation of a scalable sales organization.
Key measures include:
Achievement of annual new recurring revenue and expansion targets.
Qualified pipeline of at least three times the following 12\-month revenue target.
Balanced growth from new customers and existing\-account expansion.
More proactively generated opportunities and less dependence on unsolicited RFPs.
Higher win rates and fewer unproductive proposals and pilots.
Consistent weekly management, accurate forecasting, and complete CRM data.
Documented qualification, account maps, next steps, and close plans for all material opportunities.
Stronger performance management, coaching, onboarding, and hiring.
Reduced CEO involvement in routine prospecting, pipeline supervision, proposal coordination, and follow\-up.
Measurable growth across major accounts, business units, and geographies.
A documented sales structure and repeatable process for making new hires productive.
